On behalf of the school community, I extend to you a very warm welcome to Araluen Primary School. Our school has a wonderful feel about it – we are small enough to know each student and their family by name and big enough to offer all the programs and facilities that larger schools can offer - students are not just another face in the crowd at Araluen!
We are committed to developing the whole child. We place great emphasis on children developing positive self-esteem and, to this end, we expose our students to a broad variety of programs to assist them in the discovery of their passions and strengths as well as support in developing resilience in areas where a little more effort is required.
Our school is built on strong values: responsibility, respect, challenge, and curiosity. Our students are supported by their teachers to aspire to do their very best, take on learning challenges, and aim high. Our school motto states: Growing as we learn, learning as we grow.
