The
school is committed to providing quality teaching at all year
levels. An integrated approach is the major focus for the
teaching of literacy and numeracy across the curriculum.
Our curriculum covers the areas of Mathematics, English, Health
& P.E, Interpersonal Development, Personal Learning, Civics
& Citizenship, The Arts, The Humanities, L.O.T.E, Science,
Communication, Design, Creativity & Technology and Information
& Communication Technology and the Thinking Processes.

Our
core curriculum is enhanced by: |

- Educational Enrichment activities that may include Reading
Recovery,
Parent Information Sessions, Tournament of Minds, Perceptual
Motor Program, Special Needs program for extra help or
extension activities.
- Social Service including student raised funds to support
identified charities
and Meals on Wheels participation.
- Leadership programs including Junior School Council,
Peer Mediation,
buddy system, house sport system and cross age tutoring.
- Camps and Excursions. These
form an integral part of the school program
in which the input and attendance of parents is encouraged.
- Sport and Leisure including coaching and team participation
in basketball,
netball, football, swimming, athletics, T-ball, volleyball
and tennis.
- Cultural and Artistic including
school choir; recorder and percussion
Groups, visiting Theatre Groups, performers and guest
speakers, artists and
craft persons, art displays and competitions and Instrumental
Music Tuition in
various instruments.
