Araluen Arts program offers both Cultural and Artistic pursuits and includes a school choir; recorder and percussion groups and Instrumental Music Tuition in various instruments.
As well there are visiting Theatre Groups, performers and guest speakers, artists and
craft persons and regualr art displays and competitions.

We have a very well established art program that is conducted in our well equipped art room which includes a kiln for firing ceramic work by students.
Through the art program we encourage the individual to take risks in a safe and non competitive environment. The Visual art program enhances children's creativity and hones their presentation skills. They are encouraged to explore a wide range of media and materials in the development of their ideas.

Children also have the option of small group keyboard lessons,the opportunity for inclusion into the school choir and the chance to participate in local Eisteddfods. Children also participate in specialist music sessions as part of our normal school program.

Araluen Primary School holds an annual art show where a range of childrens' art work from the current year is proudly displayed. The art show is formally opened with a presentation by our school choir and a few words from our invited, distinguished guest.
